In the times of the Beis Hamikdosh, the early sages established that from 30 days before a Yomtov, the Rabbis should lecture about the halachos of that festival...
In later generations, when printed works of halocha became readily available, it is a mitzvah for each person to learn the laws of the festival before the festival, until he becomes expert in them and knows that which he has to do.

There are many halachos to learn for the busy month of Tishrei. With our busy lifestyles, it is not always easy to make the time to go through the halachos as Shulchan Oruch requires.
This program has been designed to help you be able to learn some of the key halachos of Rosh Hashona, Yom Kippur and Sukkos from the Alter Rebbe’s Shulchan Oruch. The halachos have been divided into daily units which can be studied in less than 15 minutes a day, 6 days a week and can easily fit into your daily schedule.
You can learn the halachos on your own or with a chavrusa or join one of the daily Zoom shiurim with the Kollel Rabbis.
