Gemara Beis Midrash Program for Women

A program with Beis-Midrash Chavrusa study and Shiur where you will develop Gemara skills with a goal to be able to learn Gemara and commentary through to the  Halacha on your own.
Starting after Shavuos.

In 5750, the Rebbe spoke about the importance of women learning the highest levels of academics in Torah; rigorous Talmudic analysis and intellectual stimulation. Whilst this may not have been the status quo in the past, it is an important step in the coming of Moshiach, when the entire world will be filled with the knowledge of Hashem.

Kollel Women's Circle is launching a new women's Beis Midrash learning program, with the goal of developing the skills to be able to navigate the text of the Gemara and to ultimately be able to analyse the Gemara through the commentaries of the Rishonim and follow it through to the Halachic conclusion; to understand the Halachic process.

The program will initially entail a weekly 1 and a half hour Beis Midrash session, with Chavrusa study and Shiurim focused on building skills and understanding of the Talmudic methodology, rules and key terms.

Due to the nature of the program, there will be pre-requisite requirements of a basic level of textual learning.
